Activities

"University Business Association in Food Industry and Tourism" carries out the following activities concerning organizing, coordinating and promoting cooperation between the members of the Association:

  • organizing internships and practical training of students, PhD students and post-graduate students and assisting their realization within the business structures of the Association members following the completion of the training;
  • joint participation in scientific, research and development European, national and regional projects and programs;
  • extending the qualification and creating opportunities for professional development of the academic staff and the specialists among the Association members by organizing and financing participation in international exhibitions, scientific conferences, seminars and other forums in the field of food industry, biotechnology, food engineering and tourism;
  • organizing seminars, conferences and roundtables on the problems of education, training and realization of the staff engaged in food industry, biotechnology, food engineering and tourism;
  • information exchange on educational and scientific programs, methodologies and materials related to food science and technology and tourism;
  • harmonization of academic curricula and plans with the European requirements and standards and their adaptation to the practical needs of the actual business in the field of food industry, biotechnology, food engineering and tourism;
  • organizing the cooperation between the Association and governmental bodies and institutions, non-governmental organizations, investors and business structures for the development of education and science in the field of food industry and biotechnology, food engineering and tourism;
